Academy of Art University

June 1st, 2006

Well many of you might have been wondering why there has been so little new imformation from Satyr Studio lately. Many oppologies for the recent quiet period. But big changes have taken place over the course of this year. Though Keith still maintains, supervises, and improves the Satyr Website, Drew toured the United States to visit campuses that were offering Masters Degree Programs of his interest. Now we announce that Drew will begin attendance at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco starting September 2006. Naturally, the Satyr Studio will continue on. But we can probably expect tidal changes in its content and mission, as Drew develops his portfolio to address other markets.

JWDC Dance Trophy

June 1st 2006

Jay Williams
Design Company
This Youth Tap Dance Trophy was just sent off to JWDC Washington DC to be cast in bronze. It measures in at seven inches and was made from Polymer Clay. Within a few weeks we will have pictures of it in its final form. We can't wait to see how the patina takes to those drapes in the figures clothing.

And here is another dance figure. This time the theme is Exotic Dancing, more commonly referred to as Belly Dancing. It was designed for the Dakini Dance Studio in Redmond Washington, and we may expect it to be cast in metallic simulant resin. It measures slightly larger than the Tap Dance trophy, at eight inches in height.

Gladiatorius from eM-4

The pre-painted and all complete roman arena fighting game Gladiatorius was so well recieved last year, that eM-4 ordered a second set of figures and are writing expansion rules to go with the box. We played this game ourselves once we recieved a copy of the finished product, and it was more fast, innovative, and fun than we had hoped.
