We are happy to be the first to announce that our "Beastmen of the Wyld" anthropomorphic minis from Reaper are now on their way to store shelves worldwide. We're looking forward to seeing these guys in action in a role-playing game, and Keith is already hard at work on that! ^_^

Concept Art by Hunter Jackson

DeadTech Babe

DeadTech Babe

We're at it again! Every so often Drew gets to work on the old Shockforce line once more. This time he is sculpting the latest design, the working title being "Deadtech Babe". The artwork supplied by Shockforce comes from the hand of underground comic book artist Hunter Jackson, who ALSO did the original concept art for the GWAR series of figures. Go to Shockforcewarehouse.com to find out more about this line.

Herald the Olympians!
December 22nd 2004
Aphrodite
Zeus
Pan
Hades
Dionysus
Athena
No, not the athletes. But the GODS! Beginning with the inspiration for our own mascot, the satyr "Pan". Also being developed are the mighty "Zeus" holding aloft his "Aegis" and hurling a lightning bolt, and the ever alluring "Aphrodite" in all her sensual glory.

Our second trio of Gods we're developing: "Hades" God of the Underworld stepping forward to minister the dead; "Dionysus" God of wine, holding up his goblet in celebration; and the raw warrior beauty of "Athena"

These are being sculpted in 54 mm scale but could still be used as "statues" or "Titans" in 28mm scale game scenery, and even sold unpainted in the museum circuit.

Until Death Do They Part
November 19th 2004
Satyr Studio's latest custom commission is made in the tradition of a Momento Mori. This seven inch tall diorama celebrates the bond of a newly wed couple. The exact likeness of the betrothed is upset with the presence of the Angel of Death and the effects of time on their youthful forms. This unique and daring design caused quite a positive stir when used as a cake topper during the clients wedding reception this past Halloween night!
